My First Blog Post

Brasov, Romania

I said that I will start with one of the most beautiful cities that I have ever visited in Romania. Brasov was my home for the last 3 years so there are a lot of things to say about this.

If you are coming from another country, the easiest way to go to Brasov is the train, but you can also rent a car or use the bus. Prices are normal, cheaper than in other European countries. (maximum 50 lei/ person- see the currency with your own money) Don’t worry, on your way to Brasov, the cities and villages you’ll go through are also one of the best, and here I am counting Sinaia, Busteni, if you are coming from Bucharest. The mountains from Busteni are breathtaking so you will not be disappointed because of the long road. (see the photos below)

After this great view, you are arriving in the Brasov train station, place which is not giving you a good impression, like every train station from Romania. But, once you take the bus or the taxi to the city center, you are amazed by everything. Even the markets are prettier and be sure that you can find everything you need on your way to the place you’re staying in your trip to Brasov.

I know everyone is thinking just to the city center but Brasov is a big city in Romania so you can visit many other places near the city center. I’ll start with Vf. Tampa, a MUST SEE place if you are arriving here. Is on the top of the city and it offers you such a great view and such a fresh air. Is good option in the summer but also in the winter, because they have cable car which is functioning every day until 17.00, and it costs 18 lei, a trip up and down.

Another place you must visit is the Bran Castle, not so far from city of Brasov. I am sure everyone knows this place because of Legend of Dracula. You can go there with a bus that costs just 8 lei but be prepared to pay the entry of the castle, which is almost 40 lei. There is organizing one of the biggest „party” for Halloween sooo, if you are a big fan of Halloween, come in that time and you’ll see how we celebrate the most popular American tradition.

About food, in the city center you can find everything you need, from traditional food and drinks, to foreign cuisine, like turkish restaurants, hungarian soups and greek souvlaki. Prices are little big higher because of the city center, but, as I said, there are many other cities more expensive than this.

As a recommendation, if you want to eat good and cheap, you can try every time a cruncy menu from Panini. This is a fast food that everyone likes and if you don’t know how the heaven tastes like, go and try the spicy sauce from there..it’s God on Earth. For people who want to eat different, and not romanian cuisine, you can try the turkish restaurant Sultan Mehmet, which is close to city center. The food is delicious and prices are low, the waiters are so kind and everything is fresh and tasty. Another cute place that you can go is ForSale Pub, a place that gives you a comfortable sensation. It offers you free nuts and you can stay all day there, to drink something and enjoy the good music and cute atmoshpere. Also, you can write on a paper your thoughts and hang it on the wall, as after many years to see it there and remember good old days.

Check the photos below in order to make an idea about this and maybe you can consider Romania as your next destination.

Kisses.

I will start by posting a photo that takes my breath away every time I am seeing it.

Turkey’s seas are the most beautiful places you will ever see. Really. If you are thinking which country should you visit in the summer, Turkey is the answer!!!

They have such a beautiful places in Ege’s part of the country, for example Izmir, Muğla, Antalya.

Mugla and Antalya are the most famous cities for a summer holiday because the weather is like 43 degrees and the sea is extremely hot. The views are incredible, like in the photo up. I made it in summer 2019, in Mugla, Koycegiz. Is one of the best places I’ve ever visited. Here, the mountain and the sea are like a family. The view is breathtaking and the feeling is unique.

Another place that I ve visited is Kusadasi, again a place right for a summer holiday. Is a small city in Aydin, full of tourists and extremely clean and beautiful. See the photo below ✨

The other sea places that I ve been visiting here are Cesme, in Izmir. This place is also extremely cute but mostly windy so you have to check the weather before going there. Also, in Cesme there is a place named Alaçatı that is extremely cute, full of history and full of instagramable places😂❤️

Another city is Bodrum, in Mugla. Here, all the houses are white and sometimes white and blue. All the houses are like this and this thing is extremely beautiful🥰 the view is better than everything

Andd the last sea place that I visited isssss Fethiyeeee. It’s one of the hottest places in the country, there were like 43-45 degrees at the end of august. The sea here is called Ölüdeniz and is one of the cleanest and clearest seas that I have ever seen in my life. The parachutes are famous here, the people are doing this for having fun and all the sky is full of people doing this🥰

Ah, I almost forgot. If you arrive to Koycegiz, you MUST visit a very famous place in there, called Yuvarlak Cay. There is a waterfall, so small but so so cold, a restaurant where the tables are in the water and its worth it!! The experience is incredible!! „mugla’nin soguk cenneti”

Turkeeeey

Hello or merhaba 😂

I came back after many months of not writing anything on this blog. This time I will tell you about a very beautiful country that MUST BE VISITED AT LEAST ONE TIME IN YOUR LIFE- TURKEY! ❤️

Everything started when the passion for the turkish language hit me. Since then I was dreaming every single day of my life to come and visit at least one time in my life this beautiful place. So, in april 2019 I came finallyyy here for the first time!!!

Everything was more than I expected. The first that I saw when I arrived here it was HOW CROWDED THE ISTANBUL IS. But beautiful.. so, so beautiful.

A very good thing here is the food. The food is so cheap, in comparison with Romania, Germany or any other european country. The food is EXTREMELY DELICIOUS AND YOU CAN JUST SAY „OH MY GOD IS THIS REAL?” 😂

I am recommending you some of my favourite foods from Turkey.

Here we have: in the first photo EZOGELIN CORBASI, a very delicious type of soup. In the second photo, the best thinh ever: LAHMACUN. It is like a bread, a tiny bread with meat. Ezogelin ÇorbasıIn the third photo we have PIDE, also a tiny bread with meat, long for 1 metre!!! Maybe you think that the taste its same as lahmacun, but surprisely its not😂. In the fourth photo there is a very special and traditional dessert: KUNEFE!! It has cheese and sometimes ice cream, its not extremely sweet, but it tastes like heaven!!

Also, in the last photo you can see the FAMOUS AND BEST BREAKFAST EVER. This is a normal turkish breakfast. I am repeating: A NORMAL BREAKFAST!! 😔 how can you not feel in heaven when you are seeing all of this?

I almost forgot about this two precious. The first one is a basic and traditional desser named LOKMA. This, from my photo is an improved version because usually the basic one is empty. Its like a donut with sugar and water but this from my photo are full with milk chocolate, white chocolate and many other optional things.

The last dessert from the last photo is KATMER. Full of a delicious turkish ingredient that can be described just as soft and yummy🥰 It is crispy outside but so soft inside. You are receiving free milk and fruits when you order this. ❤️ what a life!

I have to say to you that the desserts can not be eaten alone because you will have diabetis but they are more than enough if you share with one or 2 people. The prices are extremely good and the taste is one in a million.

That’s all for today✨

Coming soon..➡️ places to visit in Turkey.

I have been a student in Brasov for the last 3 years and I want my first blog post to be about this. I am also doing this in english because mostly of my friends are from other countries so the should understand and also, visit Romania as soon as possible.
